Young pianist Sara Jovović will make her debut at the JAM 2025 festival with her trio, featuring Milorad “Šule” Jovović on bass guitar and Martin Đorđević on drums. The concert will take place on April 14th in Njegoš Park in Podgorica, starting at 7 PM.
Sara Jovović was born in Podgorica, where she completed her primary and secondary music education (piano department). She chose to specialize in jazz piano and passed the entrance exam for Berklee College of Music in Boston, where she was awarded a scholarship. After three years of study, she earned her diploma. Following her studies in the USA, she enrolled in a master’s program at the Faculty of Music in Belgrade (Department of Jazz and Popular Music), where she obtained her master’s degree.
She is currently working on her debut album and frequently performs with her trio.
