On the occasion of marking the Music Festival – Fȇte de la Musique, on 21 June, the Grégory Privat Trio, run by charismatic French pianist and composer, originating from Martinique, will perform at the “Budo Tomovic” Cultural Center of Podgorica. Recognized through various projects on the French, Caribbean, and International scene, as a sideman and author of music, he has collaborated with some of the most remarkable contemporary musicians (Jacques Schwarz-Bart, Sonny Troupe, Franck Nicolas, Stephane Belmondo, Remi Vignolo and other). He was nominated for the “Victoires du Jazz 2015” in the Jazz Revelation of the Year category.
Grégory Privat creates under the influence of Caribbean music. He will promote his last album “Family Tree” – his first trio album. Music lovers will have the opportunity to discover the creative talents of this artist who uses all the musical means to create a jazz form which is modern and universal, respecting the predecessors, and emphasizing personal expression and style. In Podgorica, Tilo Bertholo on drums and Chris Jennings on double bass will join the artist.
